Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the TinyRep apps and tinyrep.cc website handle information. TinyRep is designed around on-device processing and data minimization. We do not require an account or operate developer servers that receive your training records.
1. Scope and responsible developer
This policy applies to the TinyRep apps for iPhone and Apple Watch and the tinyrep.cc website. TinyRep is operated by an individual developer based in the People’s Republic of China who is responsible for the processing described here. Product, privacy, or entitlement questions may be sent to support@tinyrep.cc.
2. On-device app information
Training plans, movements, custom text, preferences, reminders, training records, and selected images are stored primarily on your device. We do not upload this training data to developer servers. Apple may handle system backups or device migration according to your iCloud and device settings.
3. Apple Health and workouts
When you choose to start a guided workout on Apple Watch and grant Health access, TinyRep uses HealthKit to run the workout session and save a workout record to Apple Health. TinyRep does not request permission to read other Health data and does not send Health data to developer servers. You can deny or revoke Health access in system settings; TinyRep will use its limited fallback runtime where available.
4. External reference links
Only when you submit an external reference link and trigger retrieval does TinyRep connect directly to the relevant third-party site to retrieve public metadata such as a title, creator, thumbnail, or then-available play count. TinyRep does not upload video or refresh play counts in the background. The third party may receive the IP address, User-Agent, and basic request information needed for the connection and handles it under its own policy.
5. Photos, notifications, and permissions
TinyRep uses Apple’s system photo picker only when you choose an image and does not browse your full library. Training reminders use local iOS notifications. You may refuse permission or revoke it in system settings at any time. Refusal affects only the related feature.
6. App Store purchases
TinyRep Pro is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment, transaction verification, refunds, and purchase-account information. The developer does not receive full payment-card details. The app uses Apple-provided verified transaction status to determine entitlement.
7. Website visits and necessary network information
When you visit tinyrep.cc, hosting and security providers such as Alibaba Cloud and Cloudflare process necessary network and log information to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and maintain availability. This can include IP address, request time, path, browser or device type, and security events. The site stores a language preference locally and does not use advertising-tracking cookies.
8. Analytics, advertising, sharing, and third-party protection
The current app contains no third-party advertising SDK, performs no cross-app or cross-site targeted-ad tracking, and sends no training records to developer servers. We rely on Apple, Alibaba Cloud, Cloudflare, or a destination site only as needed for purchases, hosting, security, or a link request you initiate. Service providers acting for us are required by contract and applicable rules to protect information appropriately; independent sites you choose to contact follow their own policies.
9. Retention, deletion, withdrawal, and choices
On-device data generally remains until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or erase device data. You can delete records and custom content in the app, revoke photo or notification permission in system settings, and clear browser site data to remove the language preference. Manage exported files, Apple backups, and information held by independent third parties through those services. If you believe the developer holds support correspondence about you, use the support channel to request access, correction, or deletion; we will verify and process requests as required by applicable law.
10. Security, international processing, and children
We use measures appropriate to the product’s scale and the nature of the information, and minimize developer access. Network providers may process necessary network information where their infrastructure operates. TinyRep is not directed at collecting children’s personal information; minors should use it with guardian guidance. TinyRep is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat conditions.
11. Changes and contact
If features or practices materially change, we will update this policy and its effective date and provide notice through the site, app release notes, or another appropriate method. Where separate consent is required, changing this text will not replace that consent. Visit Support with privacy questions.
